This Month's Mystery Reader!

On Friday, we were visited by Ethan's dad, who was our April Mystery Reader! The clues were solid, and Ethan ALMOST guessed his dad, but he said, "only one of them match up!" What a pleasure it was to listen to Frog & Toad, with Ethan's dad's great voices & reading!

We also had a Surprise Reader! Chenzo was delighted to welcome his mom into our classroom-what fun it was to hear, You're Going to Love This Book!

Shining Stars!

There were only seven kids in the running, each of  the past two weeks, which is very unusual! Make sure to double check your work to be certain you've followed the "rules of title writing!" This is a skill you'll use forever! Great job to those who covered all of the bases & remembered to turn their logs in!

What great clues! We only had one guess and it was correct! Charley's dad visited to read Pig the Slob, Forever Young, and Mystery on the Docks! We especially enjoyed hearing about the inspiration behind Charley's dad choosing Pig the Slob (at least I did!)...it was Charley's room! 🤣
