It's time for our Guest Reader event! Beginning on Wednesday, each student will be assigned a day (see the calendar above-June calendar to come). Students are to choose a picture book that's a "good fit" and that they are able to read in 15 minutes or less. They should practice reading--to parents, siblings, pets, stuffed animals, in front of the mirror, etc. in preparation. The kids are all wonderful decoders and we've been further expanding their abilities by focusing on projection, expression, and fluency. This is their time to shine! We've discussed this as a group and the students should be all set and in need of very little guidance. Please remind your child to be sure to bring his or her book to school on their scheduled day. Looking forward to being wowed by these amazing kids!
